Callie
If you’re looking for a happy, fun-loving puppy who is always ready for her next adventure, Callie may be the perfect match! At approximately 4 months old and just 9 pounds, this adorable little girl is full of personality and charm.
Callie is incredibly friendly and playful. She greets everyone she meets with an enthusiastic wag, adorable wiggles, and plenty of sweet puppy kisses. She loves people, gets along great with other dogs, and is wonderful with children.
This curious little explorer wants to see everything the world has to offer! Whether she’s going for a walk, investigating something new, or happily playing with her favorite toys, Callie is always on the move. She’s a smart, confident puppy who isn’t shy about trying new things. She’s learning to play fetch and would love a family that will continue teaching her new tricks and games to keep her busy mind engaged.
Callie walks well on a leash (she just gets so excited that she likes to keep a brisk pace!), rides nicely in the car, and is always ready for whatever adventure comes next. With her short, wiry black-and-white coat and her striking eyes—one warm brown and the other beautifully split with blue on the bottom and brown on top—she is as unique as she is adorable.
Callie is a happy little busybody with a heart full of love. She would thrive with an active family that will include her in their daily activities, provide plenty of playtime, and continue helping her grow into an amazing companion.
If you’re looking for a smart, affectionate, and endlessly entertaining puppy who will fill your home with laughter and love, Callie can’t wait to meet you!
Callie was found as a stray in Mississippi. The shelter reached out to FHDR for help finding her a loving furever home. We transported her to New Jersey, where she is now settling into life in her foster home.
This adorable little girl is sure to steal hearts! Get your application in today to give Callie the chance to find her perfect furever family.

Ranger – Labrador Retriever & Shepherd Mix
Ranger is the kind of dog who blooms gently — like sunlight after a cloudy morning. He can be a little shy at first, but give him a few kind words and a scratch behind the ears, and suddenly you’ve got a loyal shadow with a heart the size of Mississippi.
Ranger and his brother Romeo grew up around kids, dogs, and cats and have only ever known love from the family they were raised with. Sadly, their owners could no longer afford to care for them or get them properly vetted, but despite all the changes in their lives, these boys have remained incredibly sweet and gentle.
They’re lower-energy dogs who enjoy lounging around just as much as a romp in the yard. They’ve kenneled with dogs of all sizes without issue and are often used as “temperament test” dogs because they stay calm and non-reactive. Ranger and Romeo have also gone on outings with volunteers and have done wonderfully meeting new people and other dogs. Ranger is leash-trained, great in the car, neutered, fully vaccinated, about 2 years old, lab mix and he is ready for a home of their own.
The shelter says….once they’re in loving homes, their sweet personalities will blossom even more. All they’re missing now is someone to choose them. 🐾. Ranger and Romeo can be fostered or adopted to separate homes.

Bruce Wayne
Bruce Wayne is a handsome 5–6 month old pup weighing approximately 30 pounds who is searching for his forever family.
Bruce is an exceptional young dog with so much to offer. He is house-trained, crate-trained, and already knows several commands, including sit, stay, down, and paw. He is incredibly intelligent, eager to learn, and picks up new skills quickly. He earned the name Bruce Wayne because, like Batman, he relies on brains, awareness, and determination rather than superpowers. He is always paying attention and figuring things out.
Bruce is a high-energy, active puppy who thrives on exercise, play, and adventure. He loves playing fetch and frisbee, enjoys running and exploring, and would do best with an active family that can keep both his body and mind engaged. Whether it’s daily walks, hikes, trips to the park, or backyard games, Bruce is happiest when he’s part of the action.
This friendly boy loves other dogs and enjoys making new canine friends. Despite his energetic nature, he also has a sweet, affectionate side and is happy to curl up next to you for a nap after a fun-filled day. Bruce walks nicely on a leash, rides beautifully in the car, and is always ready to be your adventure buddy.
One of his cutest habits is patiently sitting in his crate and waiting politely for his meals. Between his wonderful manners, loving personality, impressive intelligence, and just look at those irresistible ears that stand straight up, Bruce is sure to steal your heart.
Bruce’s family loved him very much, but due to unexpected financial and work-related challenges, they made the difficult decision to surrender him to FHDR so he could have the life and opportunities he deserves.
If you’re looking for a smart, loyal, affectionate companion and have an active lifestyle to share, Bruce Wayne may be the perfect addition to your family!

Hank
Meet Hank!
Hank is an absolute sweetheart with a personality that is impossible not to love! This adorable little guy is playful, friendly, affectionate, and incredibly well-behaved for such a young puppy. He loves everyone he meets and is happiest when he’s playing, cuddling, or soaking up attention.
Hank is a smart little boy who enjoys playing with his toys—especially tossing them high into the air and entertaining himself! He walks nicely on a leash, sleeps through the night without accidents, and is already showing what a wonderful companion he will be. He adores belly rubs, gives the sweetest puppy kisses, and is a champion cuddler. One of his favorite things is curling up in your arms, resting his head on your shoulder, and drifting off to sleep.
He gets along wonderfully with his foster family’s dog and cat and has been a happy, social, and loving addition to their home. Hank is approximately 3½ months old, and we believe he will stay on the smaller side and likely won’t reach the typical size of a standard Heeler. He also has two stunning blue eyes and a beautiful, unique coat with shades of brown, black, white, and gray that make him just as handsome as he is sweet.
Hank’s story began in Mississippi, where he was found as a stray. The shelter reached out to FHDR to tell us what a wonderful little pup he was, and we knew we had to help. We arranged for Hank to make the journey to New Jersey so he could begin his search for the loving forever family he deserves.
Hank is currently thriving in a loving foster home – and is ready to meet the family who will love him forever!
