Camille has been a lover of animals as far back as she can remember. At an early age she adopted her 1st dog while in high school, named Rusty. When she lost Rusty 15 years later, her life changed immediately. It was then Camille realized how important pets were in her life, and this kickstarted her dedication to helping animals. She became a vegetarian and began working tirelessly to helping animals in need.
In 2009, already with two dogs, Harley and Asia in the family, Camille wanted to adopt another pup. She met a woman who was running her own volunteer rescue group. A few months after, she helped Camille start Furever Home Dog Rescue. A year later, Camille adopted Oscar to join the family. And in 2018, Camille adopted two more pups, Abby and Lily, who were siblings when their owner passed when they were 10 years old.
Since that time, Furever Home Dog Rescue, which includes over 100 volunteer foster families, have rescued over 2000 dogs from being euthanized.
Below are Camille’s pups she has personally adopted over the years that have given her the love and happiness that drives her passion for dogs. Camille dedicates this page, and Furever Home Dog Rescue to all her pups.
